About Chantelle
Chantelle Botha grew up in Roodepoort and later Mosselbay. She is married to Alden Botha and has two daughters, Gia and Jade. She studied a Bachelor of Education degree specialising in special needs. She started teaching in 2005 and have always had a passion for children that has learning difficulties. Chantelle ended her teaching career as Head of School Base Support before deciding to go full time into Educational Therapy.
Chantelle then studied Educational Therapy through the National Institute of Learning Development as well as Play Therapy through Gestalt Play Therapy. Chantelle is currently also studying the field of Dyslexia and the enormous complexities of this learning difficulty. Soon she will be able to do full Dyslexia Testing.

Therapeutic approach
Each therapy session is started with affirmations. Why do we do affirmations? Positive affirmations are tools that children can use to support themselves. These sentences help children develop a healthy sense of self-love as well as a positive mental-emotional and social mindset. Affirmations wire their brains in a happy direction and directly help them with inner confidence.

What to expect at Grounded Love Therapy
Appointments are made telephonically or via e-mail, chantelle@groundedlove.co.za
Necessary information (cost of assessment, cost of therapy sessions, type of assessment or therapy, date and time) will be discussed either telephonically or via e-mail. Parents are asked to fill in necessary paperwork as well as a contract.
First assessment or therapy session both parents are invited to discuss to possible assessment / therapy needed for each child. Family background is discussed and what parents expect from assessment or therapy.
One practice is located in Little Falls and the other at Curro Krugersdorp.
The assessment or therapy takes place at both these locations in a comfortable setting where the child feels safe.
Payments are made via card machine or monthly in advance.
